To our team at Arity: Thanks

Arity's President Gary Hallgren celebrates our team on National Employee Appreciation Day

Appreciation is ‘the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.’ Today, which is designated as National Employee Appreciation Day, I urge each of us to take a moment to truly appreciate the people and teams that you work with each day. As someone who has the privilege of leading a company like Arity, I have a deep appreciation for each member of our team. Since we started this venture just a few years ago, we have all worked very hard to accomplish a lot already and what excites me is that the opportunity before us has the potential to impact society positively.

Throughout my career I’ve tried to keep it simple – find and hire the best people and get out of their way. We have employed a great team at Arity, and as a result, we’ve been able to do a LOT in a short amount of time. Each day I wake up and feel lucky to be in this position. This is something that I often say to my colleagues because I passionately believe it.

The concept of Arity that was born in the halls of Allstate has quickly evolved into an amazing opportunity that we have just begun to tackle. It is exhilarating to see how fast things are starting to come together for us and the good news is that we’re just getting started. We have laid the foundation and now is the time for us to start building something great.

When I look back over the last year,  I am most proud of the team we have built. As this talented group continues to develop, I am so excited to watch Team Arity compete and win, and our early results are very promising. I believe that we have the right mixture of people, talents, capabilities, and direction here not just to meet our ambitious 2019 goals but exceed them.

I know that everyone is busy, but now is the time to focus. To accelerate Arity’s development as a team we need to identify the most significant constraints and challenges as a company, and everyone here must take the initiative to identify solutions and deliver.

Don’t just ride along as a passenger; this is the time for each of us to jump into the driver seat and make it happen.  We are clear on our goals and motivated to transform our massive potential into reality. I know that thanks to the ongoing efforts by everyone I’m fortunate enough to call my colleagues, we are going to get it done.

To my team at Arity: Thank you for all you have done. I appreciate you today and every day. We are going to have a great 2019.
