At Arity, I create unique and purposeful recognition and community programs to help employees connect with one another and feel connected to Arity, its mission, and values.
In your own words, what is Arity?
Arity is a company full of brilliant people working together to make our world better by making transportation safer for everyone.
What is your work for home set up like?
I am lucky to have a dedicated room for work with a big desk, a comfy chair, two monitors and a good ol’ inspirational saying hanging above my desk. Fun fact, I always have a Gray Malin background on my computer.
We all commuted into the office prior to COVID-19. How are you spending the extra time?
I spend my extra time getting more sleep in the morning and in the afternoon, taking long walks with my mom and my dog, Kevin.
Most people don’t know that…
I love interior design. My favorite thing to do is decorate a space and make it feel like home. Any time I move, I stay up all night on moving day, hanging things and rearranging furniture until everything is in the perfect spot.
The theme song of my life is…
Tough choice between “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield (I’ve always wanted to be Lauren Conrad and this was the theme song for The Hills) or “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston (my most requested song at any bar).
Would you get in a self-driving car? Why or why not?
1000% I would love the option to have the car drive me if I could spend time doing other things. I would just want the option for an occasional joy ride with the windows down and the music turned up.
Favorite innovation pioneer?
I don’t really have a person, but a couple inventions that I couldn’t live without – Invisalign dental monitoring where I can scan my teeth using my iPhone to provide weekly updates to my orthodontist on my progress without ever stepping into his office. (Also great for COVID times.) And my HidrateSpark water bottle that comes with an app and measures my daily water intake. It lights up to remind me to drink water and allows me to compete with my friends and family who also have the app.
