When my friend asks me what it is that I do again, I say…
At Arity, I am a product marketer for our insurance products. Our insurance solutions will allow carriers to provide customers with a variety of benefits – including more accurate insurance pricing based on real driving data like speeding, acceleration, braking, and distracted driving.
In your own words, what is Arity?
Arity is a company full of bright minds… and A LOT of mobility data that’s used to make the transportation industry better for everyone.
What is your work for home set up like?
I never thought I’d spend so much time in my bedroom. My work set-up consists of a desk next to my bed, with two monitors and a laptop. Sometimes I even open the blinds to get some sunlight. It’s not the prettiest workspace of all time, but it does the trick.
We all commuted into the office prior to COVID, how are you spending the extra time?
Going out to dinner after work with friends. I’m a huge foodie and love trying new restaurants in Chicago.
Most people don’t know…
I am an avid golfer. People close to me know how much I love the game.
The theme song of my life is…
Champaign, Illinois by the Old 97’s – I’m a lifelong Illinois sports fan and love my alma mater, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Would you get in a self-driving car? Why or why not?
Absolutely. A car that drives itself will be a much safer car than when I’m driving it (don’t tell my insurance company).
Favorite innovation pioneer?
Willis Carrier, the inventor of the first modern air-conditioning system. I am very thankful for Willis during Chicago summers.
